News

Bratz and Fine Art
I recently participated in the “Bratz and Fine Art” event to benefit the Manitou Springs Public Library. This annual happening features good food, beer and wine, a great jazz combo, and of course, fine art and crafts.

This year, the get-together also featured rain. On cue, a rollicking thunderstorm cut loose just as the fun was getting started. Rain blew in under the tent. Everyone scrambled to keep their work dry. Very exciting. Once the storm passed, the music resumed, the brats dried out, and the guests arrived. The turnout was good in spite of the weather.

Thank you to all of you who turned out and to those who purchased my work.

Field trips with the Palmer Land Trust

I’ve been spending the last few Thursdays with fellow artists exploring and painting some of the many conservation easements obtained and protected by the Palmer Land Trust. We are collecting images for a show to benefit the PLT coming up in late September (see below).  These trips have been a blast. And we got some great imagery out of them, so don’t miss the show. I’ll have a detailed account along with photos and paintings in my online journal any day now, so stay tuned.

Prints

I am now offering an expanded collection of giclee prints. These are archival-quality reproductions of my original paintings. They come in a wide range of sizes on paper or canvas. They are impressive in their faithfulness to the original work. New prints include “Gathering Storm” and “Sunrise in the Garden.” To see the entire collection, go to Prints on the website.

Thank You

I appreciate your interest in my work. Next time you’re in Colorado, stop in my studio for a visit.
