2008 Pikes Peak Artists’ Studio Tour

For two days, the Studio Tour brought crowds of art enthusiasts to our home and studio. Forty-seven paintings and many framed prints crowded the walls as visitors crowded the halls. All enjoyed quantities of goodies (including gallons of pozole) as they wandered through the house and studio looking at the art. Of course, I got to chat with everyone about my work for two solid days (a rare occurrence).

It’s Not Over Yet!

If you missed our stop on the Tour, do not despair. Patrice and I will continue to have the artwork on display through Thanksgiving weekend (November 30). The pozole is gone, but there is still plenty of art.

Just call or email to let us know when you would like to visit. We would be delighted to have you over.

In the News…

Recent events have brought some media attention.

Mom will love this.

This month, the studio was overwhelmed by preparations for the studio tour. Touchups, studio improvements (including an annual cleaning), and framing predominated. So, I don’t have a step-by-step demonstration for this month. The demonstration will return next month. Here’s what the studio looked like just before the tour:

Journal

Read the adventures (and non-adventures) of an artist. What’s the story behind the paintings? Every event is shockingly true. Read the Journal if you dare.
